Battenhall and St Peter's wards have highest turnouts in elections to Worcester City Council

Almost half of people eligible to vote have cast their votes in the Battenhall ward in Worcester City Council’s elections.

The turnout there was 48 per cent with 1,975 votes recorded.

There was another high turnout in St Peter’s, of 45 per cent, with 2,006 votes cast.

The respective turnouts for Battenhall and St Peter’s were the highest across the 13 seats being contested across the city.

In Nunnery there was a 35 per cent turnout, with 2,277 votes cast.

In Cathedral ward there was also a 35 per cent turnout, with 2,963 votes cast.
