I was at opening of Whittington Village Hall in 1954

I was very interested to read news of Whittington Village Hall as I was born in Whittington.

I was on the photo of the opening of the village hall.

I was 12 at the time my mother and grandmother stood behind me.

I later went to youth club there then dances, where I met my husband.

It was interesting to read of the development off Redhill Lane and the country park, as I live nearby.
