Meet the ancestors at Hive workshop
People can find out more about their ancestors in two workshops taking place at The Hive.
The Exploring Family History Websites sessions are being held on Tuesday, October 30 from 7pm to 9pm and on Tuesday, November 6 between 7pm and 9pm.
Worcestershire Archive & Archaeology Service offers free access to two key family websites at The Hive – Ancestry.co.uk and Find My Past.
Paul Hudson, Learning & Outreach Manager for Worcestershire Archive & Archaeology Service, said: "Our workshops have always been popular because they help people get the most out of these great family history websites which are free to access in The Hive.
"Getting your head around these websites isn't always easy, understanding what they contain and how they are arranged, so these workshops aim to help you."
The workshops will help explain the different sources the websites contain and which are the most useful.
The second half will include using the computer to search the websites.
There is a cost and places need to be booked, either by going to http://www.thehiveworcester.org/explore-the-past-events or calling 01905 766352 or emailing email@example.com
