Conservative Linda Robinson wins Upton Snodsbury seat on Worcestershire County Council

Conservative Linda Robinson has won the Upton Snodsbury seat in elections to Worcestershire County Council.

Her victory means the party retains the seat, which includes Whittington, Norton and Littleworth, after former member Rob Adams stood down.

She won 2,042 votes, which was 68.23 per cent of those cast.

Labour's Catherine Neville came second by just a single vote - 321 to 320 - ahead of Liberal Democrat Liz Turier.

They earned 10.73 per cent and 10.69 per cent respectively of the votes.

Fourth was the Green Party's Darren Corbett, with 310 votes, 10 behind Liz Turier, with 10.36 per cent.
