Dean Wanliss resigns from Worcester Wolves

After recently having his contract extended, Dean Wanliss has been forced to resign from Worcester Wolves due to a family matters.

On handing in his resignation Wanliss said: “Thank you for my short time here at the Worcester Wolves. It has been a great experience and the staff and fans have been welcoming from the beginning.”

Head coach Ty Shaw said: “We are very sad to see Dean have to leave but understand the circumstances.  He is a great team guy, worked hard and did a great job sharing his experience with our younger players.” 

“We really enjoyed getting to work with him and wish him and his family nothing but the best going forward.”

Shaw will immediately be seeking his replacement. 

Wolves will be looking for a win at home to Sheffield Sharks tonight (Friday, November 2 at 7.30pm) for the “Freaky Friday special”. Tickets are available at www.worcesterwolves.org
